July foodie pen pal

Well it was another sucessful Foodie Pen Pal month. We both did an "on the go" theme which I thought was pretty funny. I think my husband and I devoured everything within the first week or so. I was matched with April Mathies and she was great. I hope she likes everything I sent her too.
First is this AMAZING bag of Peanut Butter Monster trail mix. This may be my new favorite mix.  It had mini resses cup like things, raisins, nuts, and little peanut butter clusters. All I can say is amazing.

Next was this Suddenly Salad pasta salad. We have these alot during the summer because of how easy and yummy they are. This one my husband liked, but I'm more of a ranch kind of gal.

Then we had these trail mix bars. I really can't say which one was better. The Kind bar is caramel almond sea salt and the Uber bar is dark chocolate turtle...I'm sure you can see the delima. Needless to say both were great.

Now these little bars I had never heard of. They say "Hello my name is" and one is caramel brownie and one is strawberry cheesecake. I do believe the caramel brownie was my favorite. My husband agrees that we should find more of these...like alot more :)

This is Folder's vanilla biscotti coffee that I actually just discovered myself and thought it was funny that I got in in my package. I'm the girl that likes a little coffee with my creamer of a morning and this is actually really good with just a little bit of creamer. It is also good at night with a little whip cream flavored vodka incase you are into that ;)
These are little honey peanut butter packets to go. These are great to take to work with me. And not shown are Haribu cola flavored gummies becuase face it.. there is no going wrong with gummies. Thank you so much for everything in my box.

Beauty Pen Pals

Ok, so I have recently started doing the Foodie Pen Pal from The Lean Green Bean and love it! I have posted one review and will being doing my second one soon. I actually love it so much that I have decided to start a beauty one. I would like to go along the same lines as the Foodie one only with makeup and lotions. Email me each month that you are interested.
-I would like for everyone to have emailed me their info by 8:00 central time on the 4th of each month please and I will match everyone up and send out a list on the 5th. If you have not heard from me on the 5th please leave a comment on here.
-You can send the box any time time after that but it MUST be mailed by the 17th.
-Then, on the last day of the month everyone will reveal who they had. All bloggers should post what they received on their blog. If you do not have a blog that is fine. You can either post of Facebook, Twitter, or not post at all.
-You will need to email your Beauty Pal and see if they are allergic to anything, what type of skin tone they have if you want to send a color. The spending limit should be no more than $20. It can be lotion, perfume, makeup, anything beauty wise.
-I am not responsibly if you do not get anything you like or if you receive nothing at all. If you get matched with someone who did not send you a box please let me know and I will give them a warning. After the second time they will not be allowed to participate anymore.
-Please remember that this is all for fun so even if you do not like everything that you received, remember to be respectful and not rude. I am a little new to this so please be patient. I'm not trying to take any credit for any of this, this was all guidelines of The Lean Green Bean and her foodie pen pals.

Please email me at coririsinger@gmail.com and tell me your name, blog address (if any) and email address for me to contact you. Thanks so much for participating.

Ipsy Glam Bag

I have started getting a "Glam Bag" from Ipsy and I am hooked! I just received my first bag and loved (almost) everything in it. To top it off every thing comes in a little makeup bag. So not only do I get to try new makeup and perfume but I also get a new makeup bag each month.

From top to bottom:

I received a new favorite lip gloss called : NYX Butter Gloss
Nicka K New York Shimmer Eyeliner *This I don't really care for. I'm not that bold in my eye makeup) :)
RealTree For Her perfume (also a new favorite)
Carol's Daughter Anti Breakage Anti Frizz Cream
OFRA's Universal Eyebrow pencil

The lip butter description online:
"Buttery soft and silky smooth, the scrumptious new NYX Butter Lip Gloss tastes as sweet as a sugar cookie—and makes your lips look downright luscious. Swipe it on alone or over your favorite lipstick for creamy sheer to medium coverage that melts onto your lips and is never sticky."

RealTree For Her online description:
"Realtree for Her opens up with the sweet taste of pomegranate, a hint of persimmon and an exotic scent of orchids. It blends with lotus blossom and champaca flower and is followed by the rich scent of amber, the transient scent of violets and the depth of mahogany wood. This scent is not only a whirlwind of feelings, but it stands alone with the Realtree brand."

Avon Color Creme' eyeshadow

Ding Dong Avon calling.. I love Avon products, when I was a little girl my mother would always put those little chap sticks and lotions in my stocking. My grandmother always had about 15 containers of assorted creams. Avon to me is a memory of childhood.I decided to try the color creme' eyeshadow. I used to get it from Mary Kay but cannot seem to find it anymore. I seen Avon had it for $2.99 or 2 for $4.00 so  I ordered the Champagne and the Hazelnut. I love the Hazelnut but the Champagne is not as light as I hoped it was. It is pretty close to the hazelnut. It also does not seem to last as long as the hazelnut. I can put it on at 8 in the morning for work and by my lunch you can't even tell I'm wearing any.

    Not so Extreme Couponing

I have recently started to coupon. While I'm not great at it yet I am saving money.
I've looked around the internet and decided to compile a list of palces I have found to be helpful. I have also found krazycouponlady.com to be super helpful. She even tells you how to get started. I'd love comments telling me what you use :)

    FOR PRINTING YOUR OWN:
  • Coupons.com – This is probably the most popular site to print coupons online.
  • SmartSource – This is another great resource, though they don’t have as large of a selection as Coupons.com, you can still find some great coupons there!
  • Swagbucks – Swagbucks is another great place to print coupons because you not only get awesome coupons, but you also get points when you redeem the coupons, and those points can be used to get free gift cards and other awesome prizes.
  • CouponNetwork – Ran by the company that prints out those coupons at the cash register that they give you with your receipt, this is another fantastic resource for printing out coupons online.
  • ALL YOU - You can either get the magazine or print some pretty good ones off this site.
  • Couponbug- Never really used this one but I've heard good things about it.
  • Couponmom- Same as the last one, never really used it.

  • I also like to buy coupons. I have bought a few off of ebay and usually receive pretty good ones. Here are a few others that Sell them:

    klip2save.com
    couponsthingsbydede.com
    bargaincouponclippers.com
    stockpilingmoms.com

You can use digital coupons as well. This means if you have certain store cards you can go online and download coupons to your card and they automatically aply when you swipe your card. No clipping! You can look at the add while you are on the website and see what is on sale. That, combined with the coupon is what gets you the best savings.  Stores like Kroger and CVS are a couple.

    Galaxy S4 Active Blue

Oh my, where to begin. I don't know how left existed before this phone. I broke my Galaxy s 3 so as a joke my husband decided to get me this "anything proof" phone and it has been so worth it. It has been dropped on our tile floor and in water and you would never know. It is the most beautiful blue I have ever seen on a phone. It has so many new features that I love as well. Along with all the normal stuff, it has something called "isis" which is an app that you can download and it is like a prepaid debit card that I can load and when I am somewhere that accepts this form of payment I can just hold my phone to the "paying station" and pay. I enter my pin and wallah! It is paid for. How amazing is that! It is also protected because of the insurance on the phone. If the phone is lost or stolen then you can call ( I have at&t) and they will cancel the card to.
Now, on to the screen. It is big and bright and so clear. I love playing my games on it. I sell scentsy and I can easily place orders on the phone as well. It is much faster than the S3. I can turn on my mobile hot spot long enough to download a book on my tablet without having to add it to my data plan.

Right now AT&T is doing a special where the Family Data plan can have 10gigs of data with unlimited calls and texts for up to 4 line for $160. For my husband and I that means we can pay exactly what we were only instead of sharing 6 gigs we get 10!! Go check it out!

    Jewelry Candle

If you know me then you know that I LOVE many things, including candles. I had a promo code for jewelrycandle.com and so I though "Heck, why not!"
    The website states
"Inspired by the American Classic, Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory! Instead of a golden ticket in a chocolate bar, you get Premium Soy Wax Candles with jewelry hidden inside worth anywhere from $10 to $7500! You may get a ring, bracelet , necklace, pendant, anklets or beautiful pair of earrings in your candle! You just never know what you are going to get! Our candles are HUGE at 21 ounces and we currently have over 100 exciting scents to choose from in our line! We are sure you will find one (or 10 hehe) you will love! =)"

I purchased the Canadian Maple Pancakes candle. It came in the mail about 2 weeks later. I could smell it before I even opened the package!
    The online description says:

    Canadian Maple Pancakes Jewelry Candle

    $24.95 $29.95

Our Canadian Maple Pancakes Jewelry Candle is the amazing scents of home made pancakes with the best Canadian Maple syrup smothering em! Nothing beats a Canadian Maple Pancake, yummy!

Each Jewelry Candle comes with a hidden jewel within it that has a value from $10 to $7500!
You could get a ring, bracelet, anklet, pendant or necklace inside your Jewelry Candles!
